Youth Participate at
the Kinsman Health Fair
The VPC Youth Group
incuding Emily Bargiel, Sean Moore, Eric Wenz, Tony Winn, Claire
Anderson, Hallie Anderson, Maggie Moore, and Ryan Bush along with
Leaders Marty Anastasio and Rachel Barcikoski attended on Thursday,
July 26, 2007. We screened about 30 people. It was Kinsman's first
health fair. They really appreciated the supply bags - more like
overwhelmed. We made a friend for life in Mary, who was in charge. We
also shared ideas with the Kinsman's Youth Director.

Welcome “Mrs. A” and “Mrs.
B”!
"Mrs. A" and "Mrs.
B" will soon be household names among the youth of Valley
Presbyterian. Marty Anastasio and Rachel Barcikoski have heard
the call of God to provide leadership and support for our middle
and senior high students during the coming year. They have
already had several meetings with “Blitz ‘06" Mission trippers
to Ashtabula and a few other youth. Several youth want to move
into more direct leadership and accept greater responsibility
for youth ministry through Valley. Please offer whatever support
and encouragement you can for Mrs. A, Mrs. B, and the mighty
fine youth of VPC in the coming months – you can bake treats,
offer assistance for special functions, provide transportation
when needed, be available to baby-sit with Mrs. B’s
preschoolers, and pray – with or without ceasing! |

2006 Youth Mission Trip to
Ashtabula, Ohio - July
16-21, 2006
Another successful mission
trip for both junior and senior high students to Ashtabula,
Ohio. This is the first year of this presbyterian-wide
Youth Mission Blitz (YMB). It was a great opportunity
to work as a unified youth group and to meet some other youth
groups in the Presbytery and to help out in our own 'backyard.'

2005 Youth Mission Trip to West
Virginia - July 3-9, 2005
Valley Youth made their way down to help rehab housing in
West Virginia and do other chores for those less fortunate.
Hard work, hard play and some river rafting made the trip a
memorable one.
Many thanks to the following
individuals who answered God's call, helping others and
spreading the word of Jesus Christ: Emily Bargiel, Molly
Cooper, Clare Fagerholm, Sean Moore, Jenn Pendergrass, Stacy
Pendergrass, Alyssa Sullivan, Graham Welling, Jenny Wenz, as
well as their adult advisors, Tom Bulanda and Karin and Joe
Wright. |
