A community Ash Wednesday worship service, organized by the Chagrin
Valley Council of Churches (CVCC), will be held on Wednesday, March 9 at 7:30
p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. An offering will be collected for the
Sojourners’ Fund to help give assistance to people with food or
transportation needs. On Wednesday, March 16, Valley Presbyterian will host
the first of five Lenten Soup Suppers and discussions held at various churches
in the CVCC. Dinner will begin at 6:00PM with a video program and discussion to
begin at 6:45PM. Come and warm your hearts with food and fellowship with our
ecumenical neighbors. Below is the schedule for the Wednesday evening Lenten
gatherings:
All suppers begin at 6:00 p.m. Videos begin at 6:45 p.m. Each
evening will conclude by 8:00 p.m.
